About Me

I’m Jessica Demmer-Knight, a Melbourne based graphic designer.

I have a Bachelor of Communications majoring in digital media from the Auckland University of Technology. This has allowed me to marry my love of photography, film, animation, typography and design together using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro and After Effects.

I lean towards a minimalist design sensibility, valuing the clarity of my chosen message over special effects. I am inspired by a range of things, such as the photographer Uta Barth, the paintings of Georgia O’Keefe and the clean, strong lines of Art Deco architecture.

My second greatest love is another kind of design – fashion. I have a large collection of shoes and a penchant for brightly coloured blazers.

I ideally want to end up in a position where I am using design to shape the way a brand is perceived by the public.
